Robert James Criddle, 87 of Cortland and formerly of Bristolville died Friday afternoon, February 17, 2012 at Cortland Health Care nursing home after a lengthy illness. Born January 7, 1925 in Warren, he was the son of the late Earl H. and Bertha L. (Kincaid) Criddle. He was a lifetime area resident and a veteran of the United Stated Air Force having served during WWII. Bob retired in 1985 from ITT Grinnell where he worked as a hanger assembler.
