Robert Charles Ackworth, 89, of Kent, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Altercare of Brimfield.
He was born March 2, 1923 in Kent to Harry Frank and Elno Irene (Palmer) Ackworth. He was a veteran of the Army during the World War II. Robert was a Writer and Editor in New York City from 1956 to 1982. He also did freelance magazine and book publication throughout 0960's and 1970's.
He is survived by many cousins and dear friends.
