Donald J. Leska, age 85, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph Residential Center.
A lifelong resident of Lorain, he was born on July 24, 1926 to the late Benjamin and Kate Leska.
He had served in the US Army during World War II.
Following his time in the service, Donald began working at US Steel in the mill. Donald then began his career with the Lorain City Police Department. He was with the force for 26 years, retiring in 1978. ...
